Rachel Slone, PT, DPT, OCS
Rachel Slone is a licensed physical therapist. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin. Following a stint working in healthcare administration, she returned to continue her education at Emory University and obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. In 2014, Rachel undertook an 18 month, APTA-approved Orthopaedic Residency Program, emphasizing evidence-based practice. She became a Board Certified Orthopaedic Specialist in Physical Therapy in 2015. Rachel has also become certified to administer trigger point dry needling to relieve pain and stiffness. She has been with Perimeter Orthopaedics since 2015.
Rachel is a skilled manual therapist and uses a hands-on approach to treat all types of orthopaedic conditions of the spine and extremities with advanced techniques. She routinely works with patients who do not require surgery as well as those being rehabilitated after surgery. Rachel works closely with the doctors and PA’s at Perimeter Orthopaedics to create an individual treatment plan for each of our patients so that everyone can achieve their full potential.
When not at work, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, exercising, and watching football, especially the Texas Longhorns and Atlanta Falcons.Book An Appointment Online
